Ghost Hunting with St. Louis Spirit Search

It was date night. I put my running shoes on. We put new batteries in the flashlights. We were ready to go on the ghost hunting tour at Lemp Mansion. Known for it’s multiple suicides, most of St.Louis knows about Lemp. It’s a great old house. We loved looking around it. The ghost hunt? The worst acting I’ve ever seen! I am pretty easy to freak out, and I wasn’t scared at all. It was disappointing. I don’t care if we see ghosts or not, but is doing it legitimately too much to ask?  Oh yeah, that doesn’t bring in as much money. Our guide Betsy (and head of St. Louis Spirit Search) was seeing ghosts all over the house. And she’s a bad actress! She was all….  “There’s a ghost above your head. There are spirits on my right and on my left. There’s also a dog ghost laying on my feet”(very nice lady, just not real is all I’m saying) It was a different way to spend the evening, so I’m glad we did it, but I really wish it would have been a real ghost hunt instead of a bad tourist trap. I do think there is a good possibility the mansion is haunted. Lemp Mansion is also a bed and breakfast, it would be interesting to spend the night there. Maybe we’ll do that next time and skip the theatrics.

The best part was walking around outside and looking at all the beautiful houses and yards on the block.

I’m sharing with TidyMoms I’m lovin it Friday, because I totally love date night!!
