Woo Hoo it’s Monday again! I no longer dread Mondays because I love to read about the random acts of kindness people do or have seen. It’s awesome to start the week out with feel good butterflies!
Our family has enjoyed a full week of kindness. We are trying to do 35 RAOK in 3.5 months. For the back story click HERE.
ROAK #13 – The boys went to Aldies and put quarters in all of the carts. (Aldies is a local grocery store where they chain the carts and you have to put a quarter in to use them.)
ROAK #14 – The girls went to Schnucks and put all the carts from the parking lot back in the cart bin. (maybe this is why some places chain their carts?)
RAOK #15 – We complimented 5 strangers. Turns out, there is a big difference between men and women when it comes to taking a compliment. The men just say “Thanks” and walk away. The women tell you where the item or hair cut or whatever came from, who they got it from and when, etc. It’s great fun hearing all the stories!
RAOK # 16 – I went to a church rummage sale and a young girl who was 8 months pregnant & her mom were leaving, talking about how they couldn’t find a baby crib. I offered them Liza’s crib who just moved to a big girl bed a couple of months ago, and they’ve already come to pick it up. Turns out it was the exact color she was hoping for. I love it when things fall in place. And, I’m probably dating myself saying young girl, she was probably 22 or so. Young to me! lol
RAOK #17- We took cans of formula to the local Pregnancy Assistance Center.
I can’t wait to see the kindness others have shown. It really is a lot of fun, and it could be the only kindness that person has seen all day or week!

I love reading your RAOK posts. You’re family is doing great things for others. You have me thinking about RAOK things my family can do for others. You, your husband and kids should all be proud of what you are doing.
