VivoBello was invited to a charity fashion show called Rescues and Runways. I had a scheduling conflict and didn’t get to attend, but I think it’s a great fundraiser and a fun way to get the word out about shelter animals and the ASPCA. All of the models who walked the runway had an animal with them who was up for adoption. Thank you to Maurice’s for sponsoring the event! The animals and those who love them appreciate this huge act of kindness!
We are well on our way to completing our 35 proactive acts of kindness in 3.5 months!
PAOK- #25 – Dave was at Wal-Greens and noticed a homeless man with all of his belongings in a shopping cart just sitting on the side of the building. He bought the man something to eat and drink and shared a nice conversation.
PAOK- #26 – While we were out grocery shopping we put quarters in the games and candy machines for kids to find. My kids would be ecstatic to find the machines already have money in them, so I hope some kids (and their parents) get a kick out of it.
How would you like to be a Proactive Partner? I think it would be so inspiring to see a list of names (and links to your website if you have one) all in one place, of people who would like to change the world one small act at a time by saying YES! I can do one proactive act of kindness in my week. I’ve started a page and I would love it if you step up to the challenge! The page can be found in the drop down menu under Proactive Kindness or just click HERE. Check it out!
