Meaningful Monday Week 8

An October Meaningful Monday! Autumn is the best time of year! We took a walk and Dave caught some leaves as they fell from the trees. There’s something a little special about catching a leaf as it falls. Maybe it was just fun to watch. I did giggle a lot. And it was pretty romantic, because he’d present them to me after catching them. *sigh*

Anyway we decided to look for a geocache on our hike. If you don’t know what a geocache is, click the link and learn all about it. It’s an awesome family activity! The kids absolutely love it. It’s like a modern day treasure hunt. In fact, I believe Jude has found more than anybody. This is where I must stop and confess that they have never found a geocache with me along. I seem to radiate some sort anti-detection to the geocaches. This week was no exception. We looked and looked, we had the coordinates and a GPS. Yet, NADA. Good thing geocashes are side ventures, I wouldn’t want to ruin the day. We had a lovely time just walking and found a cafe for lunch that we’ve never been to called Gourmet Cafe. The food was good, but the portions were small for the price.

I’m so excited that we have 24 Proactive Partners! That means we are doing 96 proactive acts of kindness per week! You guys rock so hard! If you’d like to join us we’d be thrilled!

Speaking of Proactive Kindness and Meaningful Mondays, if you are new to the site, the backstory can be found HERE. It started as a birthday wish but has completely taken off!

Here’s ours:

PAOK # 29 – Dave helped an elderly neighbor move furniture that they were getting rid of.

I hope everyone is enjoying the fall like temperatures! For those of you that live where it’s still hot, I’m sorry, that sucks. Much like being the bad mojo on a geocache.

PS: I’ve changed my twitter name and that seems to be throwing everyone off. I am no longer angiejustangie, now I’m @Vivobello. Yeah, I thought it was fitting.

First, I love the name “vivo bello”. It’s really a great blog and twitter name! I feel inspired just typing it. Also, I have heard about this geocache thing, but have never really looked into it. You have inspired me again! It’s official! I’ve got to follow this blog… :)
