We’ve been loving the outdoors lately. Fall is our favorite time of year! The leaves, the air, the hikes and bondfires. It’s wonderful. Dave wants to go camping next weekend, but yikes, it’s just a bit too cold for me. I’ll be using the little ones as an excuse to come home to the nice warm house. I wouldn’t want them getting sick, ya know.
All 5 kids in the same photograph. 1 simple photo where someone isn’t doing something weird = 30 tries. Not bad at all!
And what is it about being buried in corn? It must be a kid thing because I have no desire to be buried alive. Maybe it”s just my kids… In that case they are crazy. We’ll move on….
I just had to include this photo today. I love it when I capture some of them being lovey to each other. Although, 95% of the time it’s the baby they’re loving, but I’ll take it.
Now that I’ve made you look at photos of my kids… It’s time for our final entry of 35 in 35. 35 proactive acts of kindness in 3 months. It’s been a simply amazing experience and we have no intention of stopping. I love when one of the kids gets excited because they have a great idea of a kindness they could do.
PAOK #34 – Bella wanted to advocate to other children about living a drug free life, so she made posters and we hung them around town. This was her idea, and she carried it through to the end.
PAOK # 35 – Everyone pitched in and made Halloween cards for the residents of the elderly apartment complex in town. We ended up making about 50 and they were a big hit! Hopefully someone who doesn’t have family will know they are being thought about over the holidays.
Our 35 in 35 may be coming to an end, but Meaningful Mondays are in full swing! We will be concentrating on proactive kindness in the community and country so keep the good stories coming! We would also like to thank everyone participating in Proactive Partners! 26 people have said they have it in them to do 1 nice thing a week for someone. That’s 104 proactively nice things happening each month because of you guys! That is so awesome!

Thanks for visiting! I can totally relate about the camping in the cold thing! Gorgeous family!
