You are the best dad to every single kid we have. You are involved, you care, you are there for them. I really couldn’t ask for more. Father’s Day is a “card” holiday. I know. But I also want you to know that I acknowledge all that you do and teach our children. Sometimes it just astounds me. You WANT to be there for these kids. That’s almost more than I can say for myself sometimes.

I put together an itinerary to Mexico. I love going to Mexico! Then a bunch of news started coming across my computer about the drug activity and murders. I was still willing to risk it to climb the Mayan ruins. Dave wasn’t so thrilled. Then I planned an itinerary to Ireland. It was cheaper than Mexico and I was born to stay in a castle. But, looking at all the days, the amount of time we’d spend flying just seemed too long compared to the amount of time we’d have to vacation. What to do, what to do. We have always talked about a solo trip to Disney. You know, Magic Kingdom, no responsibilities of kids, just acting 15 again yet old enough to buy a drink if we want. Hmmm. Dave was on board so I started researching. I found that Disney had a resort on it’s property called Caribbean Beach. We could be on “the islands” yet at the most magical place on earth at the same time, for cheaper than the above places! SOLD!
