Are you tired of big corporations putting smaller home town shops out of business? Let’s do something about it! Re-DiscoverWashington and Vivobello have teamed up to bring you Washington Cash Mob Saturdays.
A cash mob is a group of people who assemble at a locally run business and all buy items from that small merchant. The purpose of the mob is to support the smaller local businesses, local economy and the overall community. It is recommended that you bring $20 to spend but it’s understandable if you need to spend less. Every little bit helps!
The 1st cash mob will happen on Saturday, July 28th at 10:00am. The exact shop will be a surprise that we will reveal the night before! For now we can tell you that it will be in historic downtown Washington! As an added bonus, and a “thank you” from the downtown merchant when you say the special password (which identifies you as part of the cash mob and will be announced at the same time as the location) you will receive a small token of appreciation for supporting our awesome historic downtown!

I have a rose bush blooming with 6 or 7 beautiful large roses. It’s mid November in Missouri. That’s just crazy. The weather has been beautiful and I’m thankful it’s allowing us a warm Fall.

We’ve been loving the outdoors lately. Fall is our favorite time of year! The leaves, the air, the hikes and bondfires. It’s wonderful. Dave wants to go camping next weekend, but yikes, it’s just a bit too cold for me. I’ll be using the little ones as an excuse to come home to the nice warm house. I wouldn’t want them getting sick, ya know.

We had Dave’s brother staying with us this week. The kids all love Uncle Dylan. He has little noisy shadows wherever he goes.
